Halibut Point State Park is just up the road where you can walk around a huge quarry and find spectacular locations for bird watching. Located in Gloucester is the village of Magnolia where you will find the medieval Hammond Castle Museum. This museum is available for unforgettable weddings and functions, and is open for tours where you will find many of the inventions of the original homeowner John Hays Hammond, Jr., who is second only to Thomas Alva Edison in number of patents.
